Cooking Instructions

Separate the desired quantity of rice and proceed by choosing one of the following methods according to your usual practice of cooking. For best results, wash the uncooked rice under warm running water, until the water runs clear. Adjust the cooking time & water quantity to achieve the rice firmness you prefer.

Open Pot Method

Open Pot Method

  • Take 4 cups of water in a pan and bring to boil.
  • Add 1 cup of rice & stir. Add salt, butter or oil, if desired.
  • Boil it uncovered for 7-8 minutes, occasionally mixing with a fork.
  • Drain out the excess water, keep for 15 minutes and then serve.
Closed Pot Method

  • Take 2 cups of water in a pan and bring to boil.
  • Add 1 cup of rice & stir. Add salt, butter or oil, if desired.
  • Cover the pan and simmer for some time till the water is completely absorbed.
  • Fluff the rice, let it stand for 5 minutes and then serve.
Microwave Method

Microwave Method

  • Take 1 cup of rice in a deep microwave safe bowl.
  • Add 2 cups of water. Add salt, butter or oil, if desired.
  • over with a lid or microwave safe plastic wrap and cook on HIGH for 12-15 minutes.
  • Fluff the rice, let it stand for 5 minutes and then serve.

Note: The above is based on a 650W microwave. The setting may vary with the type of oven.

For best results, always soak rice in cold water for 30 minutes before cooking.
